Another man arrested in west Belfast in a similiar but unnrelated incident has been bailed.
A man will appear in court following an incident in East Belfast yesterday.
A 41-year-old has been charged with a number of driving-related offences in relation to the incident on Bloomfield Avenue. The charges include driving with excess alcohol, dangerous driving, failing to stop for police, resisting and assault on police.
He will appear before Belfast Magistrates' Court on Friday, 12th December.
A 43-year-old man, arrested in west Belfast on Thursday, on suspicion of offences including dangerous driving, driving with excess alcohol and aggravated taking and driving away, has been released on bail to allow for further police enquiries.
