Hopes of a breakthrough in the case Co Down woman Lisa Dorrian who disappeared 20 years ago have faded after a man arrested on suspicion of her murder was released following questioning.

The 25-year-old was last seen alive on the night of Sunday the 27th of February 2005 after being to a party at a caravan park in Ballyhalbert in north Down

Despite many searches, her body has never been found.

Police believe she was murdered that night or in the early hours of the following morning.

The 68-year-old suspect was arrested yesterday on suspicion of murder, assisting offenders, withholding information and preventing a lawful and decent burial.
